The Marketing + Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all social media platforms and keeping our online presence fresh and engaging. Supported brands include, but are not limited to L&L, Love, Leroy, and Manor. Will work closely with direct supervisor on strategy implementation. Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

Responsibilities:

MARKETING

  • Develop and execute a cohesive social media strategy to enhance brand awareness, boost engagement, and drive e-commerce sales.
  • Curate and create high-quality, aspirational visual content (photos, videos, infographics, etc.) to showcase interior design projects and inspire our target audience.
  • Manage and post on key platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn), ensuring consistent branding, tone, and messaging.
  • Monitor and analyze metrics (traffic, engagement, conversions) to optimize campaign performance, identify growth opportunities, and report findings to leadership.
  • Maintain and update the company website to reflect current projects, services, and brand content.
  • Lead email and direct marketing campaigns, including content creation for project updates, to-the-trade communications, and client newsletters.
  • Oversee client gifting strategies to strengthen relationships.

OPERATIONS

  • Manage and maintain L&L inventory, ensuring accuracy through annual counts and regular audits.
  • Oversee the warehouse team, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
  • Implement inventory best practices and develop risk management protocols to minimize loss.
  • Coordinate delivery schedules between warehouse, project management, and design teams to ensure seamless installations.
  • Oversee e-commerce inventory management and fulfillment workflows, identifying opportunities to improve processes and client experiences.
  • Maintain employee uniforms and other physical brand applications, ensuring alignment with our aesthetic.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Liaise with leadership to strategically align marketing and operational goals with the company’s overall vision.
  • Assist in high-priority project installations as needed, ensuring exceptional preparation and attention to detail.
  • Remain adaptable to additional tasks or challenges as assigned by the leadership team.

Location: Capitol Hill HQ + Hyattsville Warehouse

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot with minimal supervision.
  • Organized and resourceful self-starter with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and speak professionally with high-profile clients.
  • Proficiency in SEO, audience engagement strategies, and mastery of social media platforms.
  • Familiarity and experience with tools like Hootsuite, Klaviyo, Meta Business Suite/Ad Manager, Google Ads/Analytics, Materio, and ClickUp.
  • Working knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse operations.

Other Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar sales and marketing role.

Experience in design, architecture, or construction industries is strongly preferred.
